The Australian Rugby league football match that every year is contested between NRL all stars versus representative teams, namely the indigenous All Stars is known as the national rugby league all-stars game. The first game was played on 13 February 2010 at the Gold Coast’s Skilled Park. Fans select the players for the game by voting on the official website of NRL, www.NRL.com.

Then coaches of both teams select the voted players into a squad. There are also some alterations is rules that are exclusive just for the all stars game such as “Double Try rule” and “Power Play” rule.

The 2012 All Stars Game was the third of the annual representative exhibition games played between the indigenous All Stars and the NRL All Stars and was held at7:15pm on 4 February 2012 at the Gold Coast’s Skilled Park. Wayne Bennett was the coach of the all stars and Laurie Daley was the Coach of Indigenous All Stars. The players for both teams were selected and arranged as follows:

In each All Stars game, the man of the match receives the Preston Campbell Medal which is exclusively voted by public. The medal is named after indigenous star Preston Campbell, who was the first person that ventured the idea of having an All Stars game.
